Entry requirements

The academic qualifications needed for the Science and Engineering Degrees with Foundation are lower than the admissions requirements for direct entry to a three-year BSc/BEng or a four-year MSci/MEng degree programme.  The entry requirements vary depending on which degree you wish to follow after the foundation year.

A-levels Typically CCC at A2, to include two subjects relevant to the intended degree, e.g. biology, chemistry, physics or Maths.  However, some offers may be higher than this minimum requirement and you should always check with the school you are intending to apply to.
Vocational courses Students studying on vocational courses will be considered on an individual basis.
Mature students Applications from mature students will be considered on an individual basis, taking account of both educational background and other relevant experience.
International qualifications EU and international students whose qualifications are not listed should email the school admissions teams for their country-specific entry requirements
